Furnas Houses are semidetached autonomous houses located in a Valley, only 15-minute walk away from many places of interest for its visitors, namely Terra Nostra Park, one of the most beautiful botanical parks in the world (according to Condé Nast Travel) and the geothermal pools of Poça da Dona Beija. The houses offer two distinct and magnificent views of the surrounding mountains. In Ribeira Quente, 6km away, there is Fogo Beach with its warm waters heated by fumaroles; and 11 km away you find the main town of the council, Povoação. The 18-hole Furnas Golf Course is one of the most impressive in the world and is only a 5-minute drive from Furnas Houses.
Furnas Houses offer modern construction, comfort and contemporary décor. Kitchenettes equipped with electric vitroceramic hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge, coffee machine and dishwasher. The living room also includes a dining area. Each house offers three spacious bedrooms with large windows and mosquito nets. One bedroom has a double bed and a balcony with a mountain view; the other bedrooms have two single beds which can be converted into a king-size bed. One bedroom offers a mountain view and the other, a view to the interior patio and garden, a space greatly enjoyed by guests. The houses also have two bathrooms, one on each floor. There is a very pleasant walled garden outside with a laundry room fitted with a washing machine, drying machine, ironing board+iron and bicycles. The living room has air conditioning and a traditional wood burning stove. Facilities include cable TV, internet in every room, hair dryer, hygiene products, dish-washing liquid and laundry and bin bags. There is free parking.
